PageSpinner is an easy-to-use web authoring package for Mac OS. The HTML Editor supports HTML 3.2, HTML 4 and XHTML 1.0 plus additional Netscape and Explorer extensions. It is suitable for both the beginner and the professional web author and gives you quick access to often used formatting.
The included PageSpinner Guide helps you to get started working with HTML in PageSpinner and a comprehensive HTML Assistant helps you to compose your HTML pages and generate JavaScript actions. The built-in HTML Checker lets you easily check the HTML syntax in your pages. PageSpinner's text-oriented editor also supports Include files that makes it possible to change the look or contents of a site by editing a single page.
PageSpinner is in addition scriptable with AppleScript, making it possible to take a script-driven approach to creating and updating a site. Several scripts that automate tasks and kits for publishing data from popular database applications are included in the package. Support for extension plug-ins allows you to download new or updated functions and examples from the net without upgrading the application.

Installation notes
Once you have expanded the compressed PageSpinner archive you can simply place the PageSpinner folder somewhere on your hard disk. You should not move anything that is located inside the PageSpinner folder to another place on your disk (unless otherwise stated). Create aliases to the application and the files instead.
PageSpinner should not be run from a CD-ROM. Instead you'll need to copy the PageSpinner application folder to your hard disk. If you are running Mac OS 9 with Multiple Users enabled, the PageSpinner folder should be placed in the Shared documents folder.
PageSpinner is by default set to create a local copy of the frontmost HTML file when you choose the Preview command to view the page in the selected browser. To get all links to work correctly in the browser and to use the browser's reload command you can enable autosaving of a file before a preview by checking the box "Autosave file before preview" in the menu File : Preferences : General…
To use the AppleScript menu items, the included AppleScript Helper Applications, and some of the items in the Tags and Web Tools menus, you'll need to have AppleScript installed and enabled in your system.

Registration Info
You can use the application for free on a trial basis for up to 21 days. If you wish to continue using the product beyond that period, you must register by paying a fee of $29.95 in U.S. currency or remove it from your computer storage medium.
After your order has been processed you will receive a registration code via email from Optima System. You will also receive a small GIF Public Domain Clip Art Collection. The fee entitles you to a single user license of PageSpinner 3.0 plus free updates of the extensions included in PageSpinner's Tag menu, Web Tools menu and HTML Examples.
You may also purchase a site license for your company/organization. A site license covers a single organization for an area of up to 10 miles (16 kilometers) in radius and costs US$495.
We also have educational licenses available. Schools and universities can purchase 6 or more user licenses for US$14/license. It is possible to later upgrade to an educational site license. A site license covers a single educational organization for an area of up to 10 miles (16 kilometers) in radius and costs US$395.
